Sir, I would also like to point out here that our hon. Chief Minister Dr. Kalaingar in his speech at the Chief Ministers' Conference on Internal Security help in New Delhi in the first week of January, 2009, had requested that Tamil Nadu's coastal line must be given the same-security considerations as the country's sensitive land borders. He had also requested the hon. Prime Minister to treat the lengthy, porous border of Tamil Nadu along with east coast on par with the borders in north, east and west and increase the presence of central forces, the coast guard and the navy. I urge upon the Government to take note of this appeal of our hon. Chief Minister seriously. Hon. Deputy-Speaker, Sir, I am given to understand that the Katchatheevu Island is being misused by the Sri Lankan Government to disturb the peace across the coastal zones and our fishermen are put to a lot of hardships. Proper care should be taken to protect the interest of our coastal zone and our fishing community. Otherwise it would seriously affect our peace and internal security, particularly in Tamil Nadu. Sir, the most important aspect is that the cyberspace crime is on the increase in India and a lot of economic and financial offences and illegal transfer of foreign funds are taking place to help the terrorist and naxal forces operating in the country. There is also an increase in sending derogatory mails causing rift and tension between various communal and religious groups to create disturbance across the country. This should be seriously taken note of and necessary action should be taken to curtail these activities. Even our hon. Home Minister during reply to a Question in Rajya Sabha had admitted the Government had under-naxals they. Taking up the provisions for direct taxes, in line with our objective of giving a thrust to exports. To suggest that we are not witnessing a new revoultion in our methods of fiscal training and technique. I want it to be quite clearly pointed out to my friends that we are now facing the lean years of Indian finance.
